Building the Next Generation of Muslim Founders

Young Muslim Founders is a free initiative helping Muslim youth develop entrepreneurial skills, leadership, confidence, and a founder mindset rooted in Islamic values.
Our mission is to partner with Masjids, Islamic Centers, schools, and youth organizations to help young Muslims build businesses, create opportunities, and strengthen the Ummah.

Why Young Muslim Founders Exists

Today’s Muslim youth face incredible opportunities, but many lack access to entrepreneurial education, mentorship, and practical guidance.
Young Muslim Founders was created to help young Muslims develop the mindset, skills, and confidence needed to build successful futures while remaining grounded in Islamic values.
We believe entrepreneurship can strengthen families, create opportunities, support communities, and positively impact the Ummah.

Kamal Alnaji
Founder & Lead Mentor, Young Muslim Founders
Young Muslim Founders was founded by Kamal Alnaji, entrepreneur, business consultant, mentor, and founder of Take The Leap Consulting Services.
Over the years, Kamal has worked with business owners, startups, nonprofits, and community organizations, helping them grow through business strategy, marketing, leadership development, and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence.
Beyond his business work, Kamal is passionate about strengthening Muslim communities and creating opportunities for connection, growth, and collaboration. He helped establish and grow HalalConnect, a Muslim networking WhatsApp community created with the support and collaboration of dedicated brothers who shared the vision of bringing Muslims together.
Through this experience, Kamal witnessed the power of community and recognized the need for a focused initiative that helps Muslim youth develop entrepreneurial skills, leadership abilities, and a success mindset rooted in Islamic values.
This vision led to the creation of Young Muslim Founders.
Kamal believes entrepreneurship is more than starting a business. It is about solving problems, creating opportunities, serving others, and making a positive impact on society.
His vision is to partner with Masjids, Islamic Centers, schools, parents, and youth organizations to help develop future Muslim founders, business owners, innovators, and community leaders.
Through Young Muslim Founders, his goal is simple:
To help young Muslims build successful futures, strengthen their communities, and contribute to a stronger Ummah.
